The Haddonfield 65 Club has announced its upcoming schedule
On April 4, the club will be visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in New York. After touring the two landmark, the group will have dinner at Town and Country. The menu will include, soup, salad and a selection of five entrees. Dessert and beverages will also be provided. The bus will depart from Wedgewood Swim Club at 9 a.m. promptly, and return at 6Â p.m.
The total cost for charter bus transportation, admissions, boat to the sites as well as dinner will be $74.00 per person. Reserve a spot by sending a check made out to Haddonfield 65 Club. On the envelope, please address the envelope with the following:

There is another trip scheduled for Tuesday, June 6. This time, the group will go on a six-hour deep sea fishing trip aboard the “Mary M Four,” a 60-foot fishing boat based out of Barnegat. Bait and rods and reels will be provided. The club chartered the vessel, offering plenty of room for everyone who would like to attend this trip. Anyone looking to go on this trip must provide their own transportation to the boat, which will leave the dock at 7 a.m. Everyone is asked to bring their own food, drinks and a cooler for any fish caught. The cost of this trip is $75 per person. Just like the New York trip, a reservation can be made by sending a check made out to Haddonfield 65 Club. Wednesday night at the movies.
Each Wednesday evening, the 65 Club has been running time-tested films, starting at 7 p.m. promptly. On Feb. 22 there will be a showing of Avatar. The following four weeks will be a showing of Shogun, one of the most famous and award-winning miniseries in TV history. While each segment stands alone, it is best to see the entire series from, start to finish. Everyone is welcome. Membership in the 65 Club is not required.
Finally, the club will continue to have regular Thursday meetings at 1:30 p.m. Speakers are invited to make presentations. If there is a topic of interest, feel free to join the other Haddonfield retired men at the Haddonfield 65 Club. Here is the list of upcoming speakers:
