Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust invites public to attend meeting

Planning for Haddonfield Sculpture Month, to be celebrated in April, expected to occur on Jan. 29

Celebrate the arts! Help plan Haddonfield Sculpture Month in April. Come to an exploratory meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 9 a.m. at Jersey Java.

The Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (HOST), a public/private nonprofit initiative, has placed more than two dozen sculptures around town over the past few years including the newest, “Ballerina,” at the Haddon Avenue and Ellis Street circle.

In the great tradition of public art, Haddonfield Sculpture Month will participate in the 5th annual International Sculpture Day, along with hundreds of artists, organizations and institutions around the world including Grounds for Sculpture.

We’re looking for folks with energy and ideas to plan and execute a series of fun educational events for local residents, businesses and visitors, and will be meeting regularly from now through April.

To learn more about HOST, visit www.haddonfieldsculpture.org, or on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter at HOST08033.
