Gloucester Township leaf collection starts next week

The Gloucester Township Department of Public Works will begin Leaf Collection Monday, Nov. 4

The Gloucester Township Department of Public Works will begin Leaf Collection Monday, Nov. 4.

The township recommends that residents put leaves unbagged at curbside the weekend prior to that streets’ collection date. However, if bags are necessary, it is recommended that residents use large paper bags and also identify what is inside, whether it be leaves, grass, brush, etc.

Leaf collection will follow a currently scheduled five-week process to reach all portions of Gloucester Township, viewable by visiting www.glotwp.com and searching for ‘Fall 2019 Leaf Collection’ along the right side of the screen.

The following streets and roads will be visited for leaf collection during the listed dates:

Week One (Nov. 4 to Nov. 7): Autumn Court, Ballantree, Broadmoor, Catalina Hills, Chews Wyck, Eyers Place, Fernwood, Glendora on the east side of the Black Horse Pike, all streets off of Somerdale Road, Somer Hill Place, Timberline, White Birch, Wilson Tract, Morgan Estates and Sterling Estates.

Week Two (Nov. 12 to Nov. 14): Blenheim, Blackwood on the west side of the Black Horse Pike and north side of east and west Church Street to Little Gloucester Road, Chews Village, Coles Hill, Echo Park, Foxboro, Glendora on the west side of the Black Horse Pike, all of Hilltop, Oxen Hill, Pine Run, Pristine Farms, Peter’s Walk, Valleybrook, Players Place, The Links and St. James Place.

Week Three (Nov. 18 to Nov. 21): Cameron Circle, Cherrywood, Glen Oaks, Highland Park, Highland Village, Kingwood Estates, Laurel Hill, Millbridge, Rosegate, Tall Oaks Drive, West Gate Woods, Wood Mill Pond and Broadmoor West.

Week Four (Nov. 25 to Nov. 27): Blackwood south of Church Street and west of the Black Horse Pike, Blackwood Estates, Blackwood Manor, Briar Lake, Cherrywood Hills, Deer Park, Dunleigh, Fox Chase, Garwood Road and all streets off Garwood Road and Peter Cheeseman Road, Grenloch, Hickstown Road, Lambs Terrace, Raintree, Revere Run II, Stonebridge Run, Amber Court, Terrestria, Timber Glen, Woodshire and Qual Hollow.

Week Five (Dec. 2 to Dec. 5): Albion Terrace, Asten Woods, Breckenbridge, Brittany Woods, Brookwood, Clementona, Country Aire, Country Oaks, Cobblestone Farms, Dresden Downs, Forest Ridge, Forest Woods, Kearsley Road, Kings Gate, Mayfair Meadows, Mayfair Woods, Mulberry Station, New Brooklyn Road, Point Pleasant Farms, Quail Pointe, Revere Run I, Senators Walk, Sicklerville Road, Spring Hollow, Sturbridge Oaks, Sweet Briar Woods, The Fields, Twin Streams, Williamstown Road, Woods Edge, Woods Hill, Wye Oak, Spring Valley, Meadowbrook, Jarvis Road and Johnson Road.
