Haddonfield Commissioner’s Election uncontested for first time since 1945

Current commissioners were only three candidates to file by the March 6 deadline

For the first time since World War Two, the election for one of the three Haddonfield Commissioner seats will be uncontested. According to Haddonfield Borough Clerk Deanna Bennett, the last time that a Commissioner’s race was uncontested was in 1945 when future governor Alfred E. Driscoll, Robert Chew and F. Victor Westermaier claimed the three seats. The current trio of Mayor Jeff Kasko, Commissioner John Moscatelli and Commissioner Neal Rochford filed for re-election before the March 6 deadline. The election will still be held May 9. The polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
