The Automotive Collision Technology program received a generous donation from 3M
through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The donation included products that students will use for various learning projects.

“The pace of change in automotive technology has accelerated and it’s critically important that collision students learn the latest repair techniques using modern tools, equipment and supplies,” said 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division Business Development Manager Mark Algie. “3M’s partnership with the Collision Repair Education Foundation helps ensure tomorrow’s collision industry workforce has the skills they need to succeed.”

3M has been a longtime supporter of collision repair school programs through the Collision Repair Education Foundation. Over the last 17 years, they have provided donations of products, tools, funds for scholarships and other gifts totaling nearly $12 million. 3M understands that collision school program budgets can be limited, and it is important that our future technicians can learn using the latest technology available that 3M supplies to the industry.

“The Foundation works with numerous industry partners to help direct in-kind donations to schools to benefit their collision repair programs,” said Melissa Marscin, director of pperations and administration for the Collision Repair Education Foundation. “We want to thank 3M for their ongoing support of Foundation and the collision industry’s pre employment education system.”
