Haddonfield’s Human Relations Commission commemorates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with ceremony

The borough’s Human Relations Commission will again commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 16. A brief candlelight ceremony will be held on the steps of Borough Hall at approximately 7 p.m. The commissioners, boy scouts, and Human Relations Commission members will participate and then lead a candlelight procession down Kings Highway and back to Borough Hall. A program will follow in Borough Hall recognizing MLK student essay contest participants. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public.
