Beginning Sept. 5, crews will close both eastbound lanes of Haddonfield-Berlin Road (CR561) at its intersection with Morris Drive in Cherry Hill as part of Camden County’s ongoing rehabilitation project along the roadway. One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction on the westbound side of the highway.

“Traffic will continue moving in both directions, but the lane closures are likely to cause delays and congestion in and around the work area,” said Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “We continue to thank the public for its patience as we undergo this major renovation to improve the drivability and traffic flow of this major county highway.”

The closure is expected to remain in place until the end of work hours on Friday, Sept. 13. Crews will be active Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Cherry Hill Police will be onsite to help direct motorists and traffic flow while the closure is in effect.

Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events. To follow this project, and all of the Department’s other ongoing projects in Camden County, visit http://www.camdencounty.com/service/public-works/current-projects/.
