Haddonfield to host ‘Memorial to the Lost’

On Sunday, June 4, a memorial to those lost to gun violence will take place at the Haddonfield Friends Meeting Graveyard.

On Sunday, June 4, Haddonfield Friends Meeting and the Haddonfield Council of Churches is sponsoring an educational program, walk and “Memorial to the Lost” to be held in downtown Haddonfield to honor the 100 people from Camden, Burlington and Salem Counties who died because of gun violence in the last two years.

At 2 p.m., an educational program and call to action will take place at Grace Episcopal Church on Kings Highway. At 2:45 p.m., there will be a walk to the memorial site along Kings Highway and then west on Haddon Avenue. Finally, at 3 p.m. there will be a remembrance ceremony at the Haddonfield Friends Meeting Graveyard, which is located just west of the corner of Kings Highway and Haddon Avenue.
