Dental office collecting backpacks for children in need

Press release from Raines Dental.

Raines Dental LLC, a full service practice providing comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry, has kicked off its month-long back-to-school drive, collecting new school supplies for the U.S. Wiggins College Preparatory Lab Family School in Camden.

For the second year in a row, owner Dr. Jason Raines and his staff are encouraging patients to donate backpacks, lunch boxes, pencils, crayons and other supplies for elementary-aged children. The drive runs until Aug. 31.

“No child should be without the materials needed to learn and based on the response last year, it seems our patients agree,” said Raines, a strong proponent of education.

The back-to-school drive comes on the heels of the Raines Dental Scholarship Program being awarded to an alumnus of Clearview Regional High School.

“We look forward to delivering another overflowing box of supplies to the Wiggins Elementary School to kick off the school year right,” Raines said. “This is just a small way we can help.”

The Raines Dental Back-to-School Drive is one of the efforts Raines has implemented to support the community. Others included Pink Wednesdays, Access to Care as an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, Give Kids a Smile, Dentistry From the Heart and Take Mom/Dad to the Dentist for Mother’s and Father’s Days.

Raines Dental, LLC provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry. State-of-the-art treatments also encompass traditional and same day dentures, bridges and crowns plus extensive cosmetic services and teeth whitening. Raines Dental is located at 4 Burton Lane, Suite 200 in Mullica Hill, with flexible appointment scheduling Tuesday through Saturday and participates with most dental insurances to maximize patients’ benefits.
