Putting plastic bags in your blue recycling bins is going to cost us more. It causes problems at the plant and will cost us more money to dispose of.
If you have plastic bags in your blue recycling bin, you may be tagged and the cart will not be picked up until the plastic bags are removed. Additionally, plastic shopping bags may be recycled at larger retail stores such as Lowe’s, ShopRite or Target.
