Health workshop seeks to ‘conquer leaky gut’

Attendees can learn how food sensitivities can cause physical and mental health issues at the “Conquering Leaky Gut Workshop” at Wegmans Cherry Hill. This free workshop event will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Wegmans Upstairs WiFi Café located at 2100 Route 70 in Cherry Hill.

Topics to be discussed include the evolution of sensitivities, the Gut-Brain Connection, the immune system’s role, techniques to determine reactive foods and how the body heals naturally following the elimination of inflammatory foods. This event is open to the public and children are welcome. Those experiencing digestive issues, or other chronic illnesses are encouraged to attend.
