A Winter Weather Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect through noon on Tuesday with another round of wintry precipitation expected to arrive Monday evening.

Additionally, the Deptford Township School District sent out notice via social media that they will, for a second straight day, be operating on a two-hour delay to begin the school day on Tuesday.

Here is what Lou Randazzo, the coordinator of communications within the district, posted to Facebook shortly after 9 p.m. on Monday:

On Tuesday, February 12, Deptford Township Schools will follow a two-hour delay schedule for all students and staff. Students should report to their bus stops two hours later than usual. All Deptford buses, including those for out-of-district students, will run on a two-hour delay.
AM Pre-K at Pine Acres and Central is CANCELLED.
PM Pre-K will begin at 1:35 PM. Afternoon Pre-K students should report to their bus stops 30 minutes later than usual.
AM Spartan Care is CANCELLED. PM Spartan Care will run as usual.
High School seniors with college courses or the CO-OP program should direct their attention to a letter on the high school website from Principal Mr. Lebb regarding their unique scheduling requirements on a half day.
Student drivers at the high school are advised to use school district transportation.
Thank you, and please be safe.

South Jersey could see a total snow accumulation of one to three inches as well as a light glaze of ice before the storm leaves the area on Tuesday.

Slippery road conditions can be expected, especially during the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Residents are advised to use caution while driving during the storm.

Depford Township’s school district canceled all after school and evening activities in Monday, less than 24 hours after the first wave of snow arrived late Sunday night.
