May 24
- Officers went to JMT School to participate in their Career Day activities.
- Patrols responded to a minor crash in the Lowe’s parking lot, but the drivers agreed to handle the crash themselves without a report.
- Detectives made an arrest of a juvenile from a damaged vehicle that had occurred on May 1Â at Ceres Park.
- Officers responded to a crash at the Wawa on Blackwood-Barnsboro Road where both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
- Officers searched for a possible suicidal male, however, investigation revealed the male was currently in West Deptford and their police was advised.
- Units responded to a person who threw a log at a vehicle as it passed, but did not damage vehicle. Responding officers could not locate the subject.
- Officers notified N.J. Transit that the bus stop glass on Route 45 is shattered and needs to be replaced.
- Ptl. Riepen conducted a car stop and arrested an occupant for possession of drugs.
- Ptl. Oldrati conducted a car stop and arrested the driver for outstanding warrants totaling over $6,300. She was processed and turned over to the county jail.
May 25
- Units responded to a domestic assault between a husband and wife. The wife was taken to Cooper Hospital with serious injuries and the male was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
- Officers supervised community service workers who cleaned up litter by Pitman Golf Course.
- Units responded to a domestic dispute between a couple. The male was arrested for active warrants.
- Patrols responded to a crash on Glassboro Road in the area of Tylers Mill Road.
- Officers assisted a motorist who had locked their keys in their vehicle at their residence.
- Units responded to a mulch fire by Wendy’s.
- Patrols responded to a domestic disturbance between a couple. It was not physical and only verbal yelling.
- Patrols responded to a female who had thrown her own phone into the woods because she was mad, then called us because she wanted us to help her find it. She was left to look for her phone.
- Units responded to a crash on Glassboro Road at Mantua Avenue in which one vehicle needed to be towed.
May 26
- Ptl. Lipsett conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested the operator for DUI.
- Officers supervised community service workers who continued to clean up litter by the Pitman Golf Course.
- Patrols took a theft report for a purse that was stolen at Chestnut Branch Park while inside the vehicle.
- Units served a temporary restraining order.
- Officers responded to a male who had overdosed. CPR was started and Narcan was given while transported to the hospital.
May 27
- Units participated in the annual Memorial Day remembrance for both towns of Wenonah and Mantua.
- Units responded to a domestic disturbance and the male was arrested for active warrants.
- Officers took a theft report for a cashed deposit to build a deck that was never completed.
- Units conducted parking enforcement in the Timberline Shopping Center.
- Units responded to Ceres Park for a father and son who were lost in the trails. They were quickly located.
- Officers assisted the Woodbury Heights Police for a report of chairs that were damaged.
- Ptl. Oldrati conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested an occupant for outstanding warrants. He was processed and released.
May 28
- Officers located keys on May 27 and were able to give them back to their owner.
- Ptl. Oldrati conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested two occupants. One for active warrants and the other for possession of drugs.
- Officers from the Detective Bureau arrested a subject that was involved in the Dunkin Donuts burglary from May 14.
- Officers took a missing persons report for an adult who walked away from home.
May 29
- Units responded to a hazardous road condition due to tree debris in the way. It was cleared up.
- Officers conducted a well-being check on a subject who may have overdosed. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
- An officer took a theft report for a person that had their township-owned trash cans stolen.
