Palmyra PD participating in Operation Take Back New Jersey

On Saturday, April 27 the Palmyra Police Department will be accepting old or unwanted medications at police headquarters.

Saturday, April 27 is National Drug Take-Back Day. The Palmyra Police Department will be collecting any and all old or unwanted medications residents need to discard from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their headquarters at 20 W Broad Street.

“Now is a good time to clean out your medicine cabinet and safely dispose of your unwanted medications. Please bring them to Palmyra Police Hq’s and we will make sure the items are turned over to the DEA for safe destruction” said department representatives.

The department reminds residents the drug take back does not include liquids, sharps or ointments.
