Atlantic City Electric project to close Williamstown Road

Atlantic City Electric will be working on Williamstown Road throughout the week, closing the road between Erial Road and New Brooklyn Road

Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Atlantic City Electric that an ongoing utility pole project in Winslow Township will require a full closure of Williamstown Road this week.

Williamstown Road will be completely closed to traffic between Erial and New Brooklyn Roads from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day through Friday.

“Motorists should be aware of this project and plan a different route if traveling in the area of Williamstown Road,” Shin Angulo said. “If traveling through the area is a must, please be aware that this may cause additional traffic, extra congestion and sudden stops. Give yourself extra time to reach your destination and drive safely.”

Scheduling and project timing is dependent on weather and may be adjusted due to unforeseen events.
