Three Chestnut Ridge Middle School musicians recently were honored with spots on the All-South Jersey Honor Band after auditions at Southern Regional Middle School.

Eighth-graders Connor Nace (bass clarinet), Ben Myers (tuba) and Kristian Raicies (trombone) were picked among the best in the region in their age group.

The three students will rehearse several times during February and early March in preparation for the Sunday, March 4, concert at Fernwood Middle School in Egg Harbor Township. The show will begin at 3 p.m.

The CRMS band is led by teacher Julie Parker.
