Mayor Mignogna discusses the third annual event, scheduled for April 28.
The third annual Voorhees Township Police Foundation Benefit Car Show will be held on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the rear parking area behind the Carmike Cinemas Ritz 16 Plaza.
The car show is free to the public and includes hundreds of cars of various makes, models and eras. This is a judged car show with over 130 trophies and specialty awards presented. The event includes food trucks, a Voorhees Township Police K9 demonstration and music.
There is a donation of $20 the day of the show to enter a car. There are no pre-registrations and registration ends at 11 a.m. Parking spots for vehicles are on a first-come, first-served basis and parking spots cannot be saved. Entry questions should be directed to (856) 904–4843 or email [email protected]. The rain date for the show is Sunday, April 29 at the same location.
Proceeds from the car show will benefit the Voorhees Township Police Memorial Garden Fund and the Voorhees Township Police Foundation, a not-for-profit entity dedicated to assisting the Voorhees Police Department in carrying out its mission of enhancing public safety services. The Voorhees Police Memorial Garden will be located at the police department and will be a tribute to all first responders and the military. The garden will include part of one of the World Trade Center twin towers destroyed during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack.
