Yesterday, the VTPD were dispatched to the Wingate Inn where three individuals were found deceased from an apparent overdose.
On Feb. 8th, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Voorhees police officers were dispatched to the Wingate Inn on Laurel Oak Road to check on the well-being of three individuals.
Voorhees officers were unsuccessful in contacting the three in question and needed hotel management to assist in gaining access to the room. Once inside, Voorhees officers found three individuals deceased from an apparent drug overdose.
At this time, the case is being investigated by the Voorhees Police Criminal Investigations Bureau and Investigators from the Camden County Prosecutors Office.
The victims have been identified and were residents of Toms River, New Jersey.
