Kim Gilmore is a bird enthusiast who will offer basic information about hummingbirds
Kim Gilmore, the owner of Wild Birds Unlimited, will give a talk called “Hummingbirds: Nature’s Miracle,” from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, at The Shoppes at Cross Keys.
“It’s that time of year when hummingbird activity is gearing up in preparation for their migration south. Come in and learn about all things hummingbirds,” Gilmore said.
Gilmore is the new Wild Birds Unlimited store owner.
She will be discussing basic hummingbird facts: where they are found, basic anatomy, physiology, nesting and foraging behavior and how to attract them to your yard.
