This is sort of brilliant, in a way.
You know those little toiletry kits you get whenever you go to a hotel? Maybe a little mouthwash or toothpaste or shampoo? And you keep it because you think, “Well, this has got to be useful for something.” But you never open it?
AAA South Jersey is collecting those, to donate to local shelters, according to Today’s Sunbeam.
As long as the kits are unopened, AAA will collect them and give them to Volunteers of America for distribution.
These small, mobile kits are — sadly enough — just perfect for people who have been rendered homeless.
You can drop off donations at AAA South Jersey offices in Voorhees, Sewell, Millville and Logan Township. The Royal Travel Agency in Vineland will take them, as well.
