Voorhees Township Police Department reports phone scam

Voorhees Township has seen a surge in reported telephone scams. Residents of all ages and nationalities have been receiving fake phone calls demanding money. Most callers have stated they are with the IRS and demand immediate payment or the resident with be arrested.

Remember : No Law Enforcement Agency will demand payment over the phone. DO NOT send money via Western Union or by Green Dot Credit Card.

When in doubt, call the Agency via a phone number you researched yourself or call Voorhees Police (856) 428–5400. Please share this information and spread the word.
