High school students can get homework help online at Camden County Library

With the approach of another school year, it’s useful to know how much reliable information students can find to do homework from any Internet connection through services offered by the Camden County Library System.

Library cardholders will again have free access to the one-on-one tutoring services of Tutor.com as one of the homework help resources for teens. It’s found under RESEARCH at the top of the library’s home page — www.camdencountylibrary.org . Visitors can click on Homework help for Teens where they will find two possible links to Tutor.com — an ad “Get Back to Your Life” or a Tutor.com link under all subjects.

Other Resources for High School Students

There also is Teen Space , a special section on the library’s website that offers, among other features, homework help in the form of many sources that are organized by different high school subjects, including nearly everything from poetry to geography to math.

Teen Space can be reached from the Camden County Library homepage at www.camdencountylibrary.org . Go to ‘Using the Library’ at the top and see a link to Teen Space that offers a Homework Help section. It provides websites on a range of high school subjects. Resources marked as “Subscription Database” require a library card while others are accessible to anyone on the Internet.

Another useful tool on the library’s site are Subject Guides or PathFinder links that clue visitors into all the resources about a given subject that are available at the library in the form of books, articles and even related sites on the Web.

Teen students can also use the Ask-a-Librarian service by email, telephone, online or onsite at one of our eight branches. Ask-a-Librarian can be reached from the library home page at www.camdencountylibrary.org under ‘Using the Library’ and the Reference Center.

Students who take the time now to explore the library’s Teen Space online will be able to find homework help when they need it during the school. So check it out.
