Daniel Boguszewski resigns as Eastern head football coach

Eastern Regional High School announced Boguszewski’s resignation in a press release Monday morning.

Eastern Regional High School’s football head coach Dan Boguszewski has resigned, according to a press release from the high school.

Jason Hill, vice principal of athletics at Eastern Regional High School, announced Boguszewski’s resignation in a statement on Monday. Boguszewski had been Eastern’s head football coach for the past three season.

“(Boguszewski) has made a positive impact on the lives of his student-athletes and the community,” the statement read. “The Eastern Regional School District is appreciative of his hard work and dedication over these past three years.”

In Boguszewski’s three years at Eastern, the team compiled a 6–24 record. After back-to-back one-win seasons in 2014 and 2015, the team improved in 2016, finishing with four wins.
