LRHSD Coding Night

Join local high school students in the Lenape district for a night of computers, education, and fun

Each LRHSD school will offer a Coding Night in their media center inspired by this year’s One Book selection, “Hidden Figures”, which focuses on women who excelled in the fields of mathematics and science. The purpose of the coding night is to create an opportunity for students to interact with the basics of computer science, and to foster the idea that anyone, regardless of age and background, can experience the basics of coding and have success. This event will be for existing LRHSD students as well as those from local sending districts. There will be an online component, as well as an unplugged version, which will encourage students to think creatively and use their imagination to problem solve. LRHSD Robotics teams will kick the night off at each school with a special demonstration. The event will take place on Dec. 14th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participating schools are; Shawnee High School, 600 Tabernacle Road, Medford, Lenape High School, 235 Hartford Road, Medford, Cherokee High School located at 120 Tomlinson Mill Road in Marlton, and Seneca High School, 110 Carranza Road, Tabernacle.
