Weekly Roundup: Seneca High School musical, schools work together to control runoff, Serenade for Wildlife

Seneca High School presents this year’s musical, “The Addams Family”

Senior Brady Moore and sophomore Meghan Hatley rehearse their roles as Gomez and Morticia Addams in preparation for the musical showing starting May 3.

Each spring, students from Seneca High School work together to showcase a musical production for the entire community to enjoy. This year’s musical is “The Addams Family” on May 3, 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. in the high school’s auditorium, located at 110 Carranza Road in Tabernacle.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students/seniors, and will be available at the door.

Tabernacle Elementary School and Olson Middle School work together to control rainwater runoff

The students at Tabernacle Elementary School and Olson Middle School, with the help of Rutgers University, have collaborated on two projects to improve their local environment. Tabernacle Elementary School has implemented a rain garden in its courtyard, while Olson Middle School will display two bioswales in front of the school.

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge hosts Serenade for Wildlife event on April 29

Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge invites guests to join them for an afternoon of musical delight at this years Serenade for Wildlife on April 29 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The concert will take place at Lord of Life Lutheran Church at 1 Winchester Ct. in Tabernacle.
