The Seneca High School choir recently performed at “Music in the Parks” at Hersheypark and came home with a lot more than just souvenirs and chocolate.
The annual festival takes place at Hersheypark and allows both high school and middle school choirs to compete in front of judges. Under the direction of Rob DiLauro, both the Seneca female ensemble and chamber singers won first place and were given a superior rating. Lauren Sander won best soloist and Seneca was also awarded best overall choir.
“I’m just excited for them. They worked hard all year and earned every bit of this.” DiLauro said.
