Sicklerville man charged with distribution of child pornography

Patrick Sardoma was released with conditions after being remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Patrick Sardoma, 22, of Sicklerville in Winslow Township, was charged with Distribution of Child Pornography and Possession of Child Pornography on June 5, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Winslow Township Police Chief George Smith.

Detectives from the High-Tech Crimes Unit (HTCU) of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office executed a search warrant on June 1 for Sardoma’s residence on Sassafras Drive in Sicklerville.

While at the residence, authorities located numerous digital devices that were taken to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office’s HTCU Forensic lab to be analyzed, which lead to the charges filed against him.

Sardoma was arrested at his residence Tuesday afternoon without incident and transported to the Winslow Township Police Department. After he was processed, he was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility. Yesterday, under Criminal Justice Reform rules, he was released with conditions.

Members of Homeland Security Investigations — Cherry Hill Office, the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Special Response Team (SRT) and the Winslow Township Police Department assisted the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office HTCU Detectives on this case.

The investigation is ongoing.

All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
