The annual event will take place on Friday, May 5.
On May 5, the Phillies will celebrate teachers in the surrounding region. Administrators, parents, peers and students can submit a nomination for their “Teacher All-Star.” Palmyra’s Charles Street School is encouraging community members to nominate a teacher who has made a positive impact by the 4:59 p.m. deadline on Friday, March 24.
Ten winners — both the teacher and nominator — will receive two complimentary tickets to the Phillies’ May 5 game against the Washington Nationals where an awards ceremony will take place. This marks the Phillies seventeenth year hosting Teacher Appreciation Night.
