HousePaws is seeking volunteer help at two nearby locations on Monday, Jan. 21

HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service, Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter and Animal Care and Control Team of Philly are teaming up for their fifth annual Martin Luther King Jr Day of community service.

On Jan. 21 the mobile veterinary service will be set up at Hope UMC, 700 Cooper Road in Voorhees and St. Joseph’s Church, 805 Warren Street in Beverly from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

HousePaws is looking for help baking pet treats and making toys for shelter animals. Volunteers can also bring donations for shelters like tennis balls or old t-shirts that can be turned into a toy. Bakers are encouraged to register as their help will be needed guiding other volunteers in the baking process.
