Clearview field hockey’s historic journey to state championships comes to an end

Clearview Regional High School lost to Moorestown High School, 5–1

Clearview Regional High School’s historic playoff run came to an end Wednesday afternoon. The Pioneers lost to Moorestown High School, 5–1, in the NJSIAA Group III state semifinals.

Clearview fell behind early as the Quakers scored four goals in the first half. Jill Verrelle scored Clearview’s only goal of the game. Delaney Lawler led Moorestown with two goals. Colleen Craven and Kayla Frank each tallied one goal and one assist for the Quakers.
