Coastal flood advisory issued for multiple counties including Gloucester

Other counties include Mercer, Camden, Northwestern Burlington, Delaware, Philadelphia and Lower Bucks

A coastal flood advisory is in effect for multiple counties including Gloucester.

The advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. this evening and was issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Mount Holly.

According to the NWS, minor flooding is expected this afternoon, during high tide, 4: 30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., from the tidal Delaware River down to the Commodore Barry Bridge area.

Some roads will be closed due to high water. The NWS urges individuals to not leave vehicles at locations prone to flooding and to not drive through flooded areas.
