Local officers receive awards from the county

A message from the Harrison Township Police Department

The Harrison Township Police Department would like to congratulate Ptl. Michael Flannery and Special Officer Christopher Foster on receiving Distinguished Service Awards this week from the Gloucester County Police Awards Committee. During the calendar year of 2017, Ptl. Flannery conducted a motor vehicle stop which resulted in the seizure of three pounds of marijuana. On a different date and time, Special Officer Foster conducted a motor vehicle stop which resulted in the seizure of two pounds of marijuana.

It has been a busy few for Officer Foster, coincidentally after receiving his award, he was promoted to full-time patrolman. Once again, congratulations to both officers for their dedication and hard work.
