Burlington County Memorial Day service to be held in Burlington Township

The Burlington County Freeholders are sponsoring a Memorial Day service on Tuesday, May 30 at Veterans Memorial Park in Burlington Township.

Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio announced that the Burlington County Freeholders will once again sponsor a Memorial Day service on Tuesday, May 30 at Veterans Memorial Park, adjacent to the municipal complex, on Old York Road in Burlington Township beginning at 11:30 a.m.

“The ceremony will include a presentation of wreaths to honor those who have fallen,” said Director Bruce Garganio. “If you would like to present a wreath during the ceremony, please contact the Veterans Service Office at (609) 265–5008.”

Garganio said the ceremony is held on Memorial Day every year as to honor those who died serving their country.

“It’s important that we take time out to remember and appreciate the men and women who sacrificed everything they had in service of our nation,” Garganio said.
