Columbia Bank Foundation continues to support communities through grants

Columbia Bank has a branch in Mt. Laurel.

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, part of St. Joseph’s Health, is the latest recipient of a $75,000 grant from the Columbia Bank Foundation. The donated funds will be used to replace one of four heavily used Mobile Intensive Care Unit emergency vehicles.

“We are pleased to be supporting the compassionate efforts of St. Joseph’s University Medical Center,” said Thomas J. Kemly, President and CEO. “This investment will provide greater reliability, reduced response times, and help serve the many patients St. Joseph’s MICU treats each year.” St. Joseph’s MICU responds to more than 20,000 calls annually and treats those suffering from strokes, heart attacks, and other traumas.

Created to serve the needs of local communities, the Columbia Bank Foundation provides grants and contributions to organizations recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501 ©(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Columbia Bank Foundation actively seeks to provide support in seven major areas: affordable housing programs, community investment and economic development opportunities, financial literacy and educational opportunities, health and human services, community sponsored events, food pantries, and the arts. Special consideration is always given to programs that provide a measurable community impact.

Locally, Columbia Bank has branches in Medford, Mt. Laurel and Voorhees. For more information regarding the Columbia Bank Foundation, please visit ColumbiaBankOnline.com or call Amy Dupuis at (201) 794–5629.
