Mt. Laurel Police arrest man for allegedly shoplifting tools at Home Depot

Police say the incident took place on Feb. 6 at 3:40 p.m.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

Mt. Laurel Police recently arrested a 49-year-old male of Voorhees for allegedly shoplifting tools at Home Depot.

On Feb. 6 at approximately 3:40 p.m., the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department responded to the Home Depot at 1200 Nixon Drive for a report of shoplifting.

According to officials, police placed a man under arrest after he was observed allegedly attempting to conceal tools on his person.

Police say the man also allegedly attempted to flee the store by going past the point of sale and at no point attempting to render payment.

According to police, the man was transported to Mt. Laurel Police Headquarters, processed and released.
