The following information was provided by the Mt. Laurel Police Department.
The Mt. Laurel Township Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Church Road in the area of Brookwood Road on Dec. 19 at 1:18 p.m. A Ford Windstar traveling westbound on Church Road crossed into the eastbound lane of a commercial flatbed truck that was traveling eastbound on Church Road. The 28-year-old female driver of the minivan was transported to Cooper Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
Between Dec. 12 and Dec. 15, several storage containers were broken into at a construction site on Church Road near Fellowship Road. Equipment and supplies, valued at approximately $13,000, were stolen.
A resident of the 200 block of Willow Turn reported that sometime between Dec. 14 at 10 p.m. and Dec. 15 at 11:30 a.m., someone forced open a door to their garage and stole electronic gaming items and a television valued at approximately $1,100.
On Dec. 15, Mt. Laurel Police filed additional charges against a 32-year-old man from Stratford. He was charged with 1st degree robbery and 3rd degree theft for the Oct. 25, 2013 robbery of the PNC Bank located at 127 Ark Road. This is the same bank he robbed on Dec. 3rd of this year, which led to his arrest. Bail for the new charges was set at $150,000 with no 10 percent option. He was served with the additional charges at the Burlington County Jail where he has been since his arrest on Dec. 3.
An employee of Church Street Family Dentistry on South Church Street reported a central air conditioning unit, valued at $2,000, was taken from outside the business. The theft occurred between 8 p.m. Dec. 16 and 8 a.m. Dec. 17.
A resident of the 300 block of Tolerance Court reported someone entered their residence and on Dec. 17 between 3:30 and 10:49 p.m. and stole electronics valued at approximately $1,000. There were no signs of forced entry to the residence.
A patron of the Wawa on Route 73 reported another patron damaged the side view mirror of his vehicle during a dispute over who was next in line for gas. The incident occurred at on Dec. 18 at 3:35 p.m. Damage is estimated at $300.
A contractor working at the Laurel Green construction site on Courtney Way reported credit cards were stolen from his unlocked work van on Dec. 17 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The credit cards were subsequently used fraudulent purchases.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Mt. Laurel Police Department. Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact the Traffic Bureau at (856) 234–1414 ext. 1565.
A resident of the 100 block of Bentley Drive reported that upon returning home on Dec. 19 at 6:52 p.m. he found a rear window and back door open. He also heard someone running through the wooded area behind his house. An investigation revealed someone had forced entry into the home through a rear window and fled the residence through the back door when the homeowner returned. Nothing was reported taken.
Two residents in Masonville near Memorial Lane reported someone drove a vehicle across their properties damaging flower beds and a retaining wall. The incident occurred between 10 p.m. Dec. 19 and 6 a.m. Dec. 20. Damage is estimated at $400.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 31-year-old woman from Browns Mills on Dec. 20 at 11:50 p.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Route 73 at Atrium Way. She was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and released after posting $525 bail for an outstanding traffic warrant.
A resident of the unit block of Center Lane reported a package, valued at $70, was stolen from their mailbox on Dec. 20 between noon and 10:15 p.m.
Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 26-year-old man from Voorhees on Dec. 21 at 2:25 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop on Waverly Avenue at Federal Avenue. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released pending a court hearing.
A resident of the 300 block of Evergreen Road reported mail was removed from his mailbox between 6 a.m. Dec. 19 and 10 p.m. Dec. 20. The mail was found opened and thrown around the neighborhood.
