Residents can prepare their holiday meal with some locally grown produce.
Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio announced that the Burlington County Farmers Market will be having a special fall holiday market on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The special holiday market will feature fall fruits and vegetables, local cranberries and honey, artisan cheeses and chocolates, fresh pies and holiday inspired crafts,” Garganio said.
The Farmers Market, located at the County Agricultural Center on Centerton Road in Moorestown, features locally grown Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, annual and perennial plants, cut flowers, baked goods and other prepared foods, cheeses, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and unique crafts.
“Bundle up and warm up with hot soups, coffee and locally inspired crafters and artists to get you into the holiday spirit of giving,” continued Garganio. “Or even bring a new unwrapped toy for the annual Toys for Tots Drive.”
“This is a great opportunity for residents to support our local businesses and enjoy fresh seasonal produce,” Garganio said. “And remember to pick up your fresh holiday turkey.”
