Due to the cancellation of the Santa run this past weekend, the department will attempt a modified Santa schedule each night from 5 to 7 p.m.
Due to the inclement weather of this past weekend, The Mt. Laurel Fire Department was forced to cancel its regularly scheduled trip of driving Santa throughout the township.
Due to the cancellation of the Santa run, the department will instead be attempting to conduct a modified Santa schedule each night this week from approximately 5 to 7 p.m. The schedule will focus on neighborhoods or sections of town by day of the week.
According to the department, it is still the department’s goal to get Santa out through the community to spread the holiday cheer.
As always, the department will make its best attempt to bring Santa throughout Mt. Laurel, although any schedule may be impacted due to calls for emergency service.
