As part of the holiday season, the Burlington County Library System Foundation has announced its third annual benefit concert featuring the Philly POPS Ensemble performing live in the Burlington County Library Auditorium in Westampton. This concert is set for Friday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.bclsf.org.
Foundation officials describe the event as a wonderful opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of the season while supporting the Burlington County Library System.
The BCLS Foundation is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds from the event will be used to help fund library system services, resources and programs.
“We are thrilled to once again bring an ensemble of world-class musicians to Burlington County and the library stage,” BCLSF President Jessica Siragusa said. “This is sure to be another exciting evening of stellar entertainment that will put everyone in a festive mood. At the same time, it’s a fabulous way to support your library. By attending this event, you will be helping the Foundation and BCLS continue to offer enhanced resources and technology to the community.”
The presenting sponsor for the concert is Marlin (www.marlinfinance.com). Seating is limited.
In addition to hosting an evening of entertainment, the Foundation will present its 2018 Library Advocacy Award to state Senator Troy Singleton, of New Jersey’s seventh legislative district.
According to officials, the award recognizes a Burlington County resident who demonstrates outstanding leadership abilities and has made significant contributions to literacy, library or educational efforts in the community.
The Burlington County Library is located at 5 Pioneer Boulevard off Woodlane Road in Westampton.
