Auditions are open to all girls from the area. Those auditioning need not be a Mt. Laurel Schools student.
Philadelphia Girls Choir Music Director Jeffrey Smith will hold auditions for those girls ages 7 and above who have not previously auditioned for the Philadelphia Girls Choir at the Hillside Elementary School on Thursday, June 1, beginning at 3:30 and ending at 4:30 p.m.
Girls interested in joining the choir’s training program will be asked to sing a familiar song and perform a few simple singing exercises.
According to choir, this audition is informal and will only last a few moments.
Those girls selected for a final audition will be notified by mail within the month.
These local auditions are open to all local girls that meet the criteria. Those who audition need not be a student of Mt. Laurel Schools or a Mt. Laurel resident..
