This event will be presented by The Power of the Patient Project.
The Mt. Laurel Library will be hosting a talk on patient rights and information on Aug. 24 to be presented by The Power of the Patient Project.
According to the group’s website, The Power of the Patient Project was conceived through professor Bob Kieserman and a select group of his healthcare administration students at the Arcadia University School of Global Business in the spring of 2017.
According to the site, the mission of the Project is to educate consumers about their patient rights, help patients become more proactive with healthcare decisions and to teach patients how to have a more interactive dialogue with their healthcare providers.
The group’s talk at the Mt. Laurel Library will feature members of the group talking about confidentiality, patient rights, and how people can empower themselves as patients and make good healthcare decisions.
This event for adults 18 and older will take place on Aug. 24 starting at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Laurel Library. No registration is required for this event.
