Obituary: Elisabeth Ann “Betsy” Kichline
Born and raised a Moorestown resident, Betsy graduated from Moorestown Friends School, before attending Sullins College in Virginia.
Elisabeth Ann “Betsy” (nee Hewes) Kichline of Moorestown and Brant Beach passed away on Saturday, Feb. 9. A loving mother, Betsy was survived by her children, Andrew (Cathy), Anne (Wayne) and Richard (Barbara). She was the devoted grandmother of Josh, Lindsay, Tiffany, Derek, Shane and Madison.
Born and raised a Moorestown resident, Betsy graduated from Moorestown Friends School, before attending Sullins College in Virginia. Betsy excelled in field hockey, golf and tennis, while being an avid fan of the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and Sixers. For more than 3 decades she was on the Moorestown Field Club’s golf team and helped lead the team throughout the years. A summer resident of Brant Beach, her days were filled with fishing, crabbing and swimming.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church on W. Main St. in Moorestown. Please no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of South Jersey.
