The Moorestown Theater Company Inc. will hold auditions for the Academy Award and Tony Award winning family musical, Disney’s Beauty And The Beast, which will be performed at the William Allen Middle School in July. Audition dates and times are Sunday, April 5 and Monday, April 6, from 7 to 10 p.m. The call back date and time is Tuesday, April 7, from 7 to 7:30 p.m. for new auditionees, and 7:30 to 10 p.m. for those “Called Back.” All three nights will be at Hope Community Church, 235 W. Main St. You do not have to live in Moorestown to participate.
In order to audition for this show, you must first register online at www.moorestowntheatercompany.org. All of the other audition details are on the Web site. You must be in 6 years or older to audition for this show, and pre-teens must have a parent who will register and join them on stage in the show. If you don’t want a “lead” role, just register and you will be in the chorus, as MTC never “cuts” anyone.
The participation Fee is $125 for the first family member and $110 for each additional family member. There is a $25 participation fee to be on stage crew. Of the $125 participation fee, $25 is a non-refundable audition fee.
