Bright red shirts, happy smiles and shining gold medals arrived at Good Counsel on Thursday afternoon, April 2. It was the school’s seventh- and eighth-grade Battle of the Books team, victorious from the competition held at Harrington Middle School in Mount Laurel.
For the fourth time in five years, Good Counsel won top honors at the county Battle the Books competition. Challenged by two hours of questions, the team demonstrated their excellent knowledge of 15 books by correctly answering 128 out of 135 questions.
