Two arrested and charged with theft in Moorestown

The following incidents can be found on file with the Moorestown Township Police Department:

• A resident from the 700 block of Riverton Road reported to police on June 29 at 1:05 p.m. for the theft of 160-feet of copper pipe from his home.

• A resident from the 200 block of W. Third Street reported to police on July 3 at 6:09 p.m. for the theft of a vehicle antenna sometime overnight.

• Moorestown patrols on July 4 around 3:15 a.m. arrested and charged a 35-year-old male suspect and a 23-year-old male suspect, both from Willingboro, N.J., after an investigation revealed that they had burglarized the fenced yard of N.W. Sign Industries, 360 Crider Avenue.

The subjects had allegedly stolen commercial signs valued in excess of $200. The subjects were stopped operating a U-Haul truck on which they had covered the license plate.

Both subjects were processed and released pending further court action.
