The following announcement was posted on Moorestown Township’s Facebook page.
The third quarter tax bills will be mailed on Aug. 2. Payment was due Aug. 1, but the grace period has been extended to Friday, Sept. 6, at 4:30 p.m. Any payment received after the grace period will be assessed interest back to the original Aug. 1 due date.
The late processing and mailing of the bills was caused by the county’s delay in certifying the tax rates.
