Moorestown’s Night at the Phillies will be held on Friday, June 16 at 7:05 p.m. at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. Proceeds from ticket sales will support The Evan Welch Scholarship, which is awarded to a graduating Moorestown High School senior. The scholarship was created in memory of Moorestown High School student, Evan Welch, whose life was claimed in a drunk driving accident in December 2007.
This Night At The Phillies event also provides the Moorestown community an opportunity to gather together in honor of Evan, to celebrate his life and to share ongoing support with his family and friends.
The Philadelphia Phillies will be playing the Arizona Diamondbacks. Tickets are $20 and are on sale through Friday, June 2. Checks can be made payable to MEF, memo: Welch Scholarship. Tickets can be purchased in room D-105 at Moorestown High School. Checks can also be dropped off or mailed to the high school, and tickets will be delivered to your home. Include your address with payment and direct to the attention of Eileen Fitzpatrick.
