Medford Boy Scout Troop 26 selling spring flowers to raise funds

Proceeds from the two day event will help fund Scout trips

Medford Boy Scout Troop 26 will be selling spring and Easter flowers on Friday, April 14 and Saturday April 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at three locations: Harriett’s Oil on Main Street, Riviera Pizza at the corner of Taunton Blvd and Tuckerton Road and the former Lukoil on Stokes Road.

Some of the potted flowers that will be sold will include hyacinths, tulips, hydrangea and more will range from $3 to $25. All of the proceeds will go to the scouts.

The scouts use these funds to pay for their many camping trips including summer camp, National Boy Scout Jamboree in Virginia, a trip to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico and the Florida Sea Base.

These camping trips help the Scouts complete the many requirements on the trail to become an Eagle scout.
