Berlin Boro voters to choose two members of Council and three members of the Board of Education on Nov. 8

Polls will be open across Berlin Boro on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Voting for the next president of the United States isn’t the only task for Berlin residents this Election Day. Voters will also get to vote for one member of the House of Representatives, two members of the Board of Chosen Freeholders, two members of Council, one Eastern Regional Board of Education members and three Berlin Borough Board of Education members.

Four candidates are running for a three-year term on Berlin Borough Council. Incumbents Jim Pearce (I) and Dan MacDonnell (I) are running against challengers Cecella Micki Armano (R) and John M. Mitchard (R). No candidates are running under the Democratic ticket.

In the Eastern Regional Board of Education election, incumbent Robert DeCicco is running unopposed.

In the Berlin Borough Board of Education election, Lisa Asare is running for an unexpired term, while Dennis J. Quinn and Rebecca Holland are running for full three-year terms.

In addition to the local election, residents will cast their vote for president of the United States, the New Jersey District 1 member of the House of Representatives and two Camden County Board of Chosen Freeholder candidates. There are also two statewide referendum questions this year. The first is, “Do you approve amending the constitution to permit casino gambling in two additional counties in this state?” The second is, “Do you approve amending the constitution to dedicate all revenue from the state motor fuels tax and petroleum products gross receipts tax to the Transportation Trust Fund?”

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The full list of polling locations is below:

• District 1 — Borough Hall, 59 S. White Horse Pike

• District 2, 5 — Berlin Fire Hall, 221 S. White Horse Pike and Washington Avenue

• District 3, 4 — Berlin Community Center, 250 S. Franklin Ave.
