College-bound Medford student athletes honored

Shawnee High School recently held a national signing day for all Division I college-bound student athletes. The following athletes were honored on Feb. 1:

Emily Arnot — University of Delaware — hardworking, intense field hockey player noted for giving everything she has on and off the field. Phenomenal leader with great vision.

Greg Biggiani — Lafayette — led Renegade soccer in scoring last three seasons.

Kevin Boswick — Lehigh — baseball — through persistence, commitment and dedication has developed into a genuine scholar athlete. He has out-worked, out-practiced and out-studied those around him to become one of the top pitchers and top students in the state.

Bob Bradley — Tulane — football — two-year starter, offensive tackle, played end and tackle on defense, first-team all conference, NJFCA Super 100 all state.

Wes Hoffner — American International College — football — two-year starter LB and FB — captain, leading tackler on the team, first-team all conference.

Annie Johnson — University of Albany — softball — noted as a phenomenal athlete with impeccable work ethic. School record holder in 55m, 100 and 200.

Jesse Osborne — Bloomsburg — football — two-year starter at offensive tackle — captain — strongest player on the team, first-team all conference — NJFCA Super 100 all state.

Victoria Radwell — Michigan state — field hockey — major contributor to Shawnee field hockey program the last four years. Noted for her speed and quick stick work. Her skills make her very hard to beat.

Ryan Schroy — University of Philadelphia — soccer — little guy with the big heart. Last year in high school saw a tremendous transition from “support player” to “impact player.”

Nicole Troost — University of Massachusetts — lacrosse — one of the most talented and hard working players in the lacrosse program. A four-year starter who has made a huge impact on the team. Noted for her offensive skills and expertise with her stick.

Keri White — Coastal Carolina — lacrosse — coming back from a torn ACL. Her height, great shot and knack for working the crease make her a vital part of the team.

Connor Herr — Cornell — cross-country — 2011 South Jersey Group IV champion, three-time all South Jersey runner.

Peter Murray — Bucknell — cross country — two-time all South Jersey runner.

Abby Watson — Bucknell — field hockey — her finesse and speed make her a threat to everyone opponent. She is always in the right place at the right time.
